Troy Built Pressure washer

I am looking for a pressure washer . My Wife likes the looks of this one.http://www.troybilt-gen-pw.com/pressure_washers/model.cfm?id=199
Its 449 at lowes. I have heard the most important component is the pump. Does anybody have any idea if this one is wurth buying?
I will be using it on everything from cleaning our deck(16x24),washing vinyl siding,mower deck grass removal,etc.

I can't tell what pump it is. For $100 more I bought a Honda powered pressure washer (2800psi) with a CAT pump (the best...Comet and General pumps are pretty good too). Honda is a better engine than B&S and the CAT pump can't be beat. I got mine at Home Depot (it was on sale for $550). I would look around some more and if you don't mind spending a little more, I think you can get better components.

I've never done much research on pressure washers. But I will say that it might be worth taking a look around to find a local shop that sells pressure washers. Most of the independent shops that sell them also stock parts and service what they sell. I've heard of people having problems from ones at the big stores and then can't find parts for them.

I would look harder at the pump than anything... and not worry much about the engine. Sure... I'd take a Honda over a B&S engine... but for the amount of use the average homeowner would put on a pressure washer... the engine will most likely be the last thing to give up.

I have that same pressure washer. I bought it at a weak moment, when I really needed one that day to do the outside windows. It has been adequate, but no more than that. I would prefer the Honda one. The B&S engine is a lower-mid range one and does it ever suck the fuel down. The pump so far has not failed, but it is not a top line pump. Since I do not use mine very much, it has been OK, but I think one could do better. I have always tried to go top line on my equipment, and this was an exception--now I know why I usually go top line.
