Hello and thanks for reading!
I have been trying to rebuild my dad's troybilt tiller for awhile now, serial number is: 754282.
It is an older one 80'ish i'm guessing. He ran the tiller attachment out of oil and basically trashed eveything inside. The only thing that looks usable is the housing. I have tried the local troybilt/mtd dealers and have had no luck. They look up numbers and say it is a guess by far.....then if its the wrong part I still have to pay. I was hoping you guys could shed some light possibly on my situation before I have a garage full of parts I can't use.
