I recently purchased a new pickup. The older I get the more effort it takes to get up in the bed when necessary, not to mention worrying about breaking something jumping out. I decided to order an aftermarket bed step. I decided to go with the AMP Research product. It is simple; push it down for getting into the bed and push it back up into storage position when finished. It can be used with the tailgate either up or down.
I installed it this morning. It is very easy to install; took about 15 minutes. I think it is going to be extremely handy. Since everybody likes pics I have attached a few. They show the product out of the box, in the down and up position. Since the truck is new, and I am proud of her, I attached a couple of pics. She's already dirty but in this weather, how can you keep it clean?
