I am hoping that someone can tell me which wire to use for my brake light. The 98 ARE cap I just put on my truck has a 3 pin connector for the brake light and interior light. My old cap used just two wires. The 3 pin connector is flat with 2 male and one female contacts. The female socket has a white wire and I am guessing that is ground. The other two are red and blue. Any ideas which one would be for the brake light? I don't really need the interior light right now. Just want to hook up the brake light.

The connector was made by Electrical Terminal Service. I can't find it on their site anymore though. The cap is a 98.

Thanks in advance for any help.

My guess would be blue is the brake. The red is probably meant to be hot at all times. If it's wrong, just change it. No harm done.
