Ever heard of tank baffles?

Yeah, they don't make the fuel weigh less:laughing::p and they won't stop the fuel from going to the low side if you are on a side hill. I believe they will help with the sloshing that you get with unbaffled.

How about one of these: Refueling tank dimensions they seem to have a cutout which should make reaching the nozzle much easier.

Thanks, Aaron. I think you may have found what I need. That combo tool box/fuel tank might just work. Can't imagine the cost of it......:(

Man we gotta get this crappy economy turned around. I need too much equipment. :(

Builder, why not take the CL fuel tank and support it with a homemade frame that's hung from the top of your side boxes on your utility bed? How much clearance do you need under the tank? 12" or so? Maybe start there and figure the frame dimensions for hanging from the boxes. Of course the transfer flow tanks would help with the height problem. Can you show us a pic of your bed from different angles?

Just picked up a lightly used fuel cell today. It's roughly 2'x2'x2'. It has an auto shut off electric pump already mounted. It has 18' of wire with gator clamps for battery terminals. I want to get rid of the battery clips and change this over to a plug mounted somewhere in the bulkhead in the back of the truck. If I don't mount it, I'm gonna put 4x4 skids on the bottom so I can fork it off the truck onto the ground.

Not sure how I'm mounting it yet, but it'll be great to finally have one again. $300 for everything plus 2 extra in line filters.

Good looking tank. I put one mounted on the flatbed truck but it has 12foot bed and the other one on skids that i can fork on and off the trailer both are L shaped 105 gal tanks. As you its always easier to have to much fuel than run out in the middle of a project
