truck hoist hydraulic system help

I took old international truck hoist and put on trailer and want to run with 7.5 HP gas engine. What I know is it has 2 cylinders that are telescoping and are single acting. What I need to know is how big of Res. tank, closed or open valve, and what size of pump I would need.
Any help would be great! I only live 30 miles from surplus center so getting the parts won't be a problem but they can't help me until I figure out what its going take to run this thing.
