Wow, a great find. Is this your first 9000? Look forward to your restoration. Looks like the frame starts to slope down to the front at about 2 feet behind the cab. I guess that would be to help fit the big Cummins into a small space. Is the engine tilted to the right? Looks like the back of the tranny is just at the back of the cab. Is there any space at all for a passenger in the cab? Love those old Whites.
This is my first 9000. The company Dad drove for had one back in the '60's and I remember riding in it a few times. Passenger seat is a fold down jump seat, not much room Doghouse takes up most of the cab space. These trucks are very rare in this condition. I removed the floor mat and driver's seat to work on the floor board. I've treated it with KBS Rust Blast and will coat it with KBS Rust Seal to stop the rust. You can see the fold up jumpseat in one pic.
