Truck tires

I have Hankook atr procomps on right now only have 20000 or so on them so not sure yet. I had bfg all terrain T/A's last time great tires, but about 230 a tire for 285/75 17's so I changed. I think the duelers that come on them are pitiful though.

I buy used... truck tires are expensive and more often, people trade good tires/wheels for custom tires/wheels. Get the used ones for ten cents on the dollar.

+1 for BFG AT. I run them on my CJ7 and get regularly 100 000 miles out of them. On the GC Jeep it is little bit less, but the thread is aggresive enough for snow or bit of mud and smooth enough for highway.

Also heavy tire with strong sidewalls will hold you on the road even with a puncture - much safer than regular road SUV tires.

Michelin LTX or it's lower priced Uniroyal counterpart give excellent ride, last very well and have good traction for wet, dry or snow-covered roads.

I have also had good luck with the Michelins...:)
