Try Calling a Hardware box store and asking if they have Sling for Weeds

Probably the best HOE I have used was one of my Sisters, which was more of a Elongated Pentagon/Diamond shape. It came to a some what sharp point with about 3" long flats that got wider (about 3" wide) at the 3" high point and was squared off to about 4 or 5" total height.

It was real good for those long rooted plants and you turned it 45 degrees to hoe flat spots or hold it straight up and make a planting row. tilting it left or right was depending on which side of plant or left/right handed. the tips were wor off to almost rounded about 1/2" radius.

She had a 2nd one which was similar but was only about 2" wide and it had a dual tine that came off the back of the hoe, 3' pointed on one side and back side was dual 3" points in a "V" shape. both sides were used one for planting weeding & other side for covering seeds or weeding both sides of small plants or breaking up ground.

both of which were well warn & often sharpened with FILE with grinder stone used some times. I still have 1/2 of one with a broken handle that I should fix someday...
