Trying to Decide

I too struggled with the CK25 or the CK30. I spent the extra money and bought the CK30. It will give you the extra PTO hp. to run 6ft cutters. Also, with the weight of the machine @ 3050lbs, it will benefit from the extra hp. and put it to the wheels for extra pulling. Mine is three weeks old with 10 hours. After seeing what it can do, I'm glad I spent the extra for the 30hp. Not that the 25 wouldn't work, but the extra hp. sure does make it nice and you can work a little faster. I figured the CK30 would be with me for a long time and when you figure the extra cost per year of ownership, it's worth it. From what I could research, it's a different engine class over the 25 and is similar to the 35hp. The price for the CK30 is a little better than I did. I had went to three dealers around me and all had different prices. I tried the haggling routine and they didn't want to budge much. Luckily, the closest dealer was the cheapest for me.

Good luck and happy tractoring. I think you'll like the CK30. By the way, mine is an HST and my wife loves it. She is more than happy to help me with some of the work because it's an HST.

Again, I want to thank everyone for the great info! It's nice to have a place to go to learn about something you have very little experience with (especially when you're considering spending $15,000). I'm really leaning toward the CK30. Hopefully, I'll be able to haggle just a little more to fit the budget.

I'm also working with one dealer to try to get the 0% for 36 mos. on the CK30, but I haven't heard back from him yet.

Gent's,
You can walk and carry anything you want. As for me, I'll ride my Kioti, it will knock down any stick I need. JUst like last year, my wife callied me and ask if we had a big snow shovel? I told her yes, look at the front and back of the tractor, She went, oh yeah.
I know this doesn't help with the tractor choice but I had to say it.
I think the CK 30 is the way to go. I like the extra size of the implements on the bigger jobs. They will get the have to jobs done quicker so you can do the want too's.

Not only does it have 5 more HP but a dealer told me that the hyd pumps for the loader/backhoe are upgraded in the ck30 as well. If a side by side comparasin is done on their website you'll see these two machines are identicle...............with the exception of the motor and the little known hyd pump upgrades as they are not the same pumps........or so I was told . Is this pump info true?
