Trying to find a Yanmar ym336D engine

Hi there I am helping out a friend trying to find a diesel engine for his YM336D Yanmar tractor. Last weekend a rod came out through the side of the block. He has checked with several used dealers in Canada and the US with no one having an engine or even knowing where he can find one, if anyone has any information where to look I would appreciate it. I always recommend TBN member "Bruce1966us" . Bruce Laten is located in Lynchburg TN and I have always felt his engine and shipping prices to be the best around. His number is 931-492-0316. He carries a variety of different brands of low hour Japanese diesel engines.

Not sure how the price on shipping an engine would be to NS. I was once up there over a decade ago. It's a loooooong drive from Toronto even.

BTW, what engine model is in the YM336?

I do know that Fredricks has info about other Yanmar engines that may bolt right up and work too. Hit up Bobby over there ... Fredricks Importing
