JD 2210
What the? I've contacted virtually every JD dealer in the area and none have a 2 stage snowblower setup for my 2210! Only one in 7 dealers ever got back to me and he is now putting me off. Are they that snobbish towards the Lawn and Garden crowd during harvest?? Sure I'm not buying or leasing a $200,000.oo combine but my 2210 was a lot of money to me!

I had the same experience a couple years ago trying to get a front blade. I ended up at a dealership 80 miles from my home before anyone would seriously talk to me. My 2210 was a lot of money to me also as well as the blade cost!!! Good luck in your search.

Maybe try River Valley Power and Sport in Red Wing, MN. They aren't the closest dealer to you, but I've always had good luck with them - that is where I bought my 2305.

Or - you could buy my 47" and I'll get the new 54". ;)

Appears from a quick look at jdparts.com that the 2210 & 2305 use the same front hitch components. You might get better results if you research the exact parts you need bsed on the S/N of your 2210 and supply the part numbers to your JD dealers.

Visited my local Dealer this morning, no help. No used blowers for a 2210. quoted $3400 for a new snowblower outfit. Not going to do it. Get this; he said he coudn't find a used 54" snowblower ... didn't Deere just come out with those? It'd be a miracle to find one used?
This guy couldn't price a 54" blower, either cause "it's not listed for the 2210".
I'll just keep looking through internet dealer stock and craigslist and ebay and machinefinder...
In the meanwhile, ready for some snow! (note empty bucket, a very good thing!)

megotatractor,

Do you want a front or rear/3pt snowblower? What is the wheelbase on the JD2210 (Isn't it 57")? It's a good idea to get a snowblower at least as wide as the wheelbase. However, I think the 54" front or rear mount would work good.

Yesterday, I bought a used Buhler/Allied 60" snowblower that I found on craigslist http://denver.craigslist.org/grd/2681747675.html . The seller used it on his JD2210 for two seasons to clear his 1/4 mile asphalt driveway. He claimed it worked good - just had to take it slow on bigger drifts. He sold the snowblower to me and then later the same day he sold his tractor with loader & MMM to somebody else. He is moving across the country next week and needed to get his stuff sold. Now the snowblower is on my JD770! Winter 2011/12 - bring it on!

I've been looking for a used 60" snowblower for almost 1 year now (my wheelbase is 54"). Half the battle is finding somebody willing to sell their implements seperately from the tractor. Then their is timing, price, location, and condition.

Given that the 54" just came out recently, I would imagine it would be tough to find one used. The 54" is about $400-$500 more than the 47SB.

I know when I bought mine, the blower was used and the attaching equipment was new (long PTO shaft, upstop, etc.) and my price was ~$2500. Given, the 47SB was in really nice shape, but that wasn't much of a discount for a used unit. They are popular and they hold their value.

I'll keep my eye out for you and drop you a PM if I see anything of note.

Good luck!

THe 47SB is a front mount blower and it's "just" wide enough for the 2210 or the 2305.
