trying to find snowblower for 2210

Found a 47" down by Waterloo Iowa last weekend in Machinefinder, complete. Shot an email for them to send me more photos of the machine and Monday he replied and said he would send some pics, then I had a busy week at work, and today find out on Machinefinder that this unit was sold. DAM! Not much I coulda done different as by the time I found that machine the dealer was closed for the weekend.

I am going to expand my search for a rear 3 pt blower.

I have a 50" Buhlar/Allied 3pt on the back of my JD 2210 and I like it. It covers the witdth of the tractor. I went with the 50" over the 60" because I would rather make the exta pass with the 50" than not have enough power to go through a heavy snow. This will be my 3rd winter with it and I like it much more than when I used a 60" rear blade.

BTW, how do you like the Femco weatherbrake on your 2210?

haha, little tractor looks like a seesaw balancing on the back wheels! Didn't realize it would stick so far out the back! Gonna need a bigger tractor so it doesn't look so silly!


the Femco weatherbreak is a huge improvement over the wide open when it's below zero wind chills! I also tie a piece of plexiglass across the back of the ROPS to stop the wind at the back. In fact on some sunny days above freezing it can be too warm. twas cheaper than a soft cab.

Yeah, the I-Match magnifies that too. Would probably handle that load a lot better hooked directly to the tractor without the I-Match.
