Trying to identify an old shredder

I need to locate an output shaft / gear that sheared yesterday afternoon.

The shredder is 12 ft, solid deck, 3 blade, drag behind, no name machine.

If you recognize this machine please let me know.

Help appreciated.

Mystery solved - I found the Mfg Tag under grease and such. Servis Gyro 140. Now to find a replacement shaft that drives the RH and LH blades. steve

My guess parts are no longer available. It will be have some built type job.

Did a Google search and found that Rhino took over Servis. Who knows, they may still carry parts for it.

Read the 4th full paragraph, about them taking over Servis.

What the heck... Send them an email, or call... Maybe they can at least direct you in the right direction, if the still don't stock what you are looking for.

Turns out Servis Rhino does have the OEM shaft in stock. While waiting on the shaft I tried to remove the U Joints from the yoke so I could drive out the broken end of the shaft. Cracked the yoke in a press. NEAPCO 211DN. No longer available. 1 1/16 straight bore - 5/16 key. 4" joint cl to hub (to make room for a nut on the end of the shaft) - series 35 joints.

Looks like I will cancel the shaft order and pay re-stocking. Then have the local machine shop make a new shaft with 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 ends to fit a current production yoke.

PS - the folks at Servis Rhino were GREAT and so were the folks at NEAPCO. NEAPCO OEM'd the part to SERVIS and there is no demand. NEAPCO would make some yokes for a 25 unit order.
