First of all don't give in. But remember this: Your insurance covers it.
The insurance covers everything from you driving it off a cliff to hitting a tree. This is no exception. If you dealer fights you on this take it right to Kubota. Then ask your dealer what the **** he thinks the insurance is for.
I have not followed every post of this nightmare but it is obvious you have a nontrivial mess on your hands. If the thing is still under guarantee or has the Kubota Insurance lay it squarely 100% in the lap of Kubota and make them make it right. Period. Above all do not mess with it yourself. Do this in full coordination and cooperation with your regional service rep. Insist that HE decide which dealer will fix it. Ask for an estimate of completion time. And record every syllable and circumstance on video. There comes a time when such behavior is not paranoid at all.
