The more time I spend reading these forums the more I find out. Which to me is wonderfull in some ways, but the more I read the more I wonder how hard of a job it is and how much it would cost to add rear remote for the hydraulics? It seems what I would like to have vs. what I need are different (just ask the wife). But it seems like one of those sure would be handy in more ways than one. OK its time for the GURU's on this one. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You basically have two options. The tractor is preped for a "half remote" running off of the lift control. it is the capped off fitting of the left side of the lift box. it is controled by turning the hex head valve next to it. This valve directs pressure from the lift cylinder to the output. limited use.

Since you have a loader, you can add an open center valve block. Just split one of the connectors feeding the loader and add your lines.

Since the remotes are not a factory option, you will be forced to use rubber hoses or custom bend hard lines.

Chip,

It sounds like splitting the line for the FEL is the way to go. But I need people to remember hydraulics isn't one of those things I know about. I have no idea what a open center valve block is or what I need to do the task. Been looking in TBN but most of what I get don't get into pictures or "how to" aspect of it. I'm sure you need some sort of a control mechanism for it, I'm still trying different word combos in google trying to find kits or something that I can understand. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

A basic open center valve will have a pressure side and a return side and then one or tow work ports. If it has one it would be used for single acting cylinders like log splitter, oil in and back through a single hose. MOre versitile would be a two way valve, it will have 4 ports and a lever to divert the flow to either of the work ports and free flow (0pen center) betweent eh pressure side and return side when in netural. You just attache you quick connect fittings to the work ports and run hoses to your existing loader fittings. It would be best to use a vaolve with a Pressure releif feature as you will be working ahead of the PR valve in the tractor.

We have not done this so I do not have specific valves picked out. Perhaps someone else has done a remote addition? Principles are same for JInma or KAMA TS. Remotes are standared on KM Kamas...
