Replaced Water pump about 16 hours ago re-used old belt.. After about 14 hours of operation the serpbntine belt split in half. I replaced the belt and the grooved idle, replacement idler was plastic. After another 2 hours of operation the new belt split in half and jumped off. The replacement idler was looser than the original one. I found a steel grooved idler and am replacing everything including tensioner and flat idler. Any ideas as to what else could be wrong. Loader is back on tractor, so removing radiator and everythign is not a fun chore...
