Hiya,

Not sure if this is where I should ask about fuel cans but here's my question:

Does anyone use the 15 Gallon caddy w/hose and fill handle from TSC? How are they for ease of use? Quality? Flow?

I was thinking of bolting 2 of them to a pallet, plumbing the outlets together into one hose/nozzle and when I needed to fuel up, lift it up on the forks and let gravity do it's work. When I needed to fill them, load it into the truck and visit the fuel oil guy down the road.

Might be cheaper to get a 35g steel drum ( grease keg ) and pop a pump in the bung hole..

Hi tom,
I have one of those cans.If your going use it like you said it will do fine. When its full its a handfull to move around. Also the outlet and valve are on the bottom and not protected at all,but mounted to a skid as you say it will be that wont be a problem.I was going to try and do something like that but my fuel fill is all the way out back and I didnt want to screw around with a hose that long.So I registered my tractor instead lol.Now I just road it to the nearest station.

and then fasten the drum to a pallet so that you can forkllift the whole thing into your truck.

I don't think that gravity will work for fuel running through a hand pump. But I may be wrong.

If you are going for gravity feed.. forget the pump.

I'd forget the Caddy and get Get a 100 dollar elect diesel pump a $30water Blocker filter and a $20 nozzle from Northern tool.
With this rig you can fill the tractor from amy container from a home heating oil tank 55 or 30 gallon drum 5 gallon cans even 1 or 2 gallon jugs.

1* Forget this.
Why not/Get a 100 dollar elect diesel pump a $30water Blocker filter and a $20 nozzle from Northern tool and let this do all the work?
*It will also unload the fuel off your truck when you get back fron visiting the fuel oil guy and totally eliminates having to dig out the tractor and forks.
