TSC attachment sales

Tractor Supply hasn't been in my area for too long, and I was wondering from people familiar with this store does TSC have sales specifically Box Blade specials at a particular time of the year if at all?

Box blades are not cheap in my neck of the woods for example I was quoted $900 for a Landpride unit (iMatch compatable). I think it was a BB1560. Used units are usually something someone has discovered in Uncle Bob's brush pile behind the barn.

Still shopping around hoping to find a used unit just for around the home use. I am aware that the Landpride has 5/16" steel in the 4x4 shank holding tube verses 1/4" for the Countyline brand etc, but are priced 30% more.

I am interested in their 6' 3 pt. tiller and understand it goes on sale in the Spring. Call the store and ask to be put on their sale flier list and then you'll know.

They tend to have percent off deals fairly regularly. I bought a Countyline boxblade from them two years ago when it was on sale and I used their discount coupon, I think it was 10% off at the time. Their box blades are not heavy duty models, but I have used mine quite a bit without any damage or problems. I've been happy with it and, compared to similar models elsewhere, I think they are a pretty good deal, especially if you are not in a hurry and wait around for a sale.

I asked the store manager if he could knock 10% off a $600 attachment and he didn't bat an eye - said "I can do that if you're buying today". Never hurts to ask.

I have found them pretty flexible on price. You need to talk to the manager or the person called the "controller". That is the person responsible for the inventory. They know what they need to get on any item in the store. Different store can have different prices on implements, depending on how long they were in inventory.

Thanks everybody. We have had so littlle snow this winter, and although I just came in from cleaning up about 8" of the white stuff I am thinking of spring, warm weather

Good on asking for the 10% discount :thumbsup: TSC sends out 10% coupons a couple of times a year.

The implements at TSC are typically rated for 30 hp max. I've used them in the past on a 45 hp tractor (before the started labeling them 30 hp max) and was a frequent customer at the local weld shop getting them repaired. Now I only buy better quality implements (Bush Hog, Landpride, etc.) and I haven't had to go to the weld shop.

If I were looking for a box blade I'd be checking out this advertiser. Looks like pretty good pricing to me. Nice selection as well.

Go as heavy duty as you can afford. In the end it will be the least expensive purchase. I've been using a Bush Hog MBX720 commercially for over seven years with nothing replaced but the ripper tips. It looks like Dirt Dog may actually manufacture the unit.

Same here at my local TSC .. as long as its $100 or more. Oil, filters, feed ... anything in the store.
