For $18 i would buy it...but i dont own your tractor. I do habe other things that take hyd fluid and arnt tractors.

If you have wet brakes or clutches put in what the manufacture specs no matter the cost.

I wouldn't put it in my tractor, but I do use the traveler hydraulic fluid. When I see a yellow bucket, I can't help but think of the old 303 hydraulic oil.

I just copied the specs on this oil. Pretty vague info, but it looks like it is suitable for older machines, and for hydraulic fluid only certainly not a HST drive unit. One customer asked if this fluid was suitable for his 1996 Telehandler and this was the response... We'd suggest the Traveller Premium as it's a J20C spec, but this product will definitely perform better than 303. Ok....Not in my machine thanks. A few bucks saved today could bite you down the road. I have used TSC fluids in the past and have no issues with them, using their applicable fluid for the specific tractor's requirements.

On nay sayers and skeptics, did it ever occur to you that a national chain the size of TSC could not afford to sell junk THD fluids.

I would think that a large retailer would have deeper pockets than me if I ever had an issue and wanted to hold them responsible for damage that I believed was caused by a product that they sold. I'd rather base my decisions on data sheets, lab/real world test results and reputation, thanks. Dutchy

I've used TSC Traveler premium thf for over 15 years in my Kioti with no issues. Having said that, my tractor is a gear tractor, not hydro.

I am currently running TSC THD Premium in my 6530 and as reported recently noticed the the hydro whine was increasing. Wondering if it was the fluid breaking down since I only have about 100 hrs on the fluid change.....fast forward again as mentioned herein, Neoprene rubber hose between the sump supply line and the hyd pumps had deteriorated and was allowing air into the pump. New hose a bit if working the air out and good as new. Nothing wrong with the fluid.

Most of my equipment is so old that the oil from anyplace is better than what was available when the equipment was new. The only engines that I use a specific oil in are the Detroit Diesels. That would be Kendal Oil sae40 low ash for Driptroits. The other oils clog up the exhaust and consumption goes up. The old Cat is a 10 gallon change, so oil and filter is over $100 even at TSC.
