Here goes.
Problem: When rotating the ignition key forward to start the tractor, the entire ignition switch turns as well. It's getting to the point where I can't rotate my wrist far enough to reach the START position.
The switch and the hole through the steering column cover (which accommodates the switch) are both notched with a "key way".
It would appear that at one time there was a "keyed" washer that would have been placed over the ignition switch after the switch was positioned in the cover. Then the finish nut would be screwed on.
If anyone followed my lame description, do you have any ideas how I might solve this?
