Are there any reasons why it is good, bad or indifferent to put tubes inside tires that are slowly leaking? They have been plugged a few times too.

It was not unusual to get 7 flats in a week. I bought a box of 100 tubeless tire plugs and used them all and bought another. I got to where I could generally find the nail and remove it and plug the tire and air it up in less than 5 minutes at home without removing the wheel. A tube tire will go flat fast on the road and you have to change to your spare and then take the tire apart to fix it.
Both my tractors have tubeless tires on the rear and tubes on the front. I much rather get a flat on rear because it is so much faster and easier to fix. (unless you run over a railroad spike like I posted a while back)![]()
