i have a k62 hyd on my tractor with about 400 hours on it. has anybody ever changed the fluid in one of these. is it necessary to do so. i have no problems with it. it uses 10w30 and thought after 6 seasons maybe i should change it /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I just changed the oil in a K65, only because the owner said he topped if off with transmission fluid instead of the 5W50 synthetic oil that is supposed to be in it. I don't know if it is necessary to change the oil, but it probably isn't a bad idea. I did notice on the Tuff Torq web site that the K62 uses 2.5 liters of J20C Hy-Gard High Viscosity oil. There is a drain plug on the bottom but the fill hole will have to be accessed from under the tractor housing. In my case, I had to remove the seat & unbolt the housing.
