Tufline 7 ft back blade

I recently traded a 6.5 ft Howse 3-point disk for this Tufline 7 ft back blade. It worked good for cutting some ditches in my corn field today.

Awesome. I have a 7 rhino and love it. You can do a lot with blades when you learn to use them.

That looks really close to my Rankin rear blade. Paid under $600 for it early last year. It cuts almost to well.

I am not a farmer - just wondering what the ditch is for ??

I have an old 7' TufLine too. As you found out they are great for ditching with the offset, angle, and tilt adjustments. You can reach out there pretty well.

Draining rain water off of a flat field so that the standing water doesn't drown the crop...

I'm also not a farmer but did research on crops and that's what we had to do!!!

Looks like we have the same model. It's been good to me, Snow in winter, road in summer.

It sure can throw a tractor around! Must be made of good steel! ;-)

I have an old Ford 6' grader blade that has rotation, tilt(3 settings), and brackets to off-set the blade 3' to either side. I've been offered $300 for it several years (standing offer), but it's the only one I've ever seen with the off-set feature, so i ain't sellin.
