Tufline implement paint color

I'm getting ready to paint a used disc that I just purchased and it needs a fresh coat of paint. It is so faded that I can't tell the original color, if it is red or orange. I tried to call Monroe-Tufline for a couple of days, but no one picks up the call. I guess they are closed till after the New Year.

While I was at TSC, I picked up a couple of quarts of Massey Ferguson red paint. I think I heard somewhere that Tufline color was RED. Tell me if I'm wrong. I'm not looking for an exact factory match. I just want to paint it as close to the original as I can.

Why not paint it to match your tractor? Or are you planning to sell it? A friend has a Rear Blade from Tuffline, I can look at it tomorrow if that helps I can't recall what color it is... :confused2:

I just thought I'd paint it back to the original color. If you can think about it, tell me what color your friend's is. Don't make a special trip. It's not that important.

I just called him... going meet with him anyway tonight. He said it was Orange. He bought it used in 1996.

They look orange on the Tuffline website (see attachment).

I went ahead and painted it RED since I already bought the paint at TSC. Orange/red.....what's the difference?

It doesn't matter... as long as you have a MF I can post a photo but it is orange.

I would go with the tractor color, the web site shows a redish orange, but go with what you got.
