Has anyone tried these, or can give any advice?
That is what I was afraid of. I am trying to find a light that is bright w/ low current draw. I like the Grote idea, but like everyone says $$$. I found some HIDs for 135 each, but only 90 day warr. I will continue to search for price deals. LED seems to be just as high as last year. I hoped to see price drops but no such luck yet.
They aren't the Trilliants, but how about these, .6 amps:
Grote LED WhiteLight Rubber Utility Lamp 63551 | Wheeling Truck Center
Those work ok, but the Trilliant's are quite a bit brighter. Plus they have a lifetime warranty. And only $12 or $15 more. I would go high end, or back to a tractor bulb for $15. Just my thoughts.
Is there any documentation for the lumen output?
