.Is it possible to change out my left/right turn signal switch and install a three position switch to create a turn signal/flasher type of set up and still use my two prong relay? Will I have to change that and if so what type or prong count.....do I have to do any other wiring? Thanks

Maybe, you could just use the existing turn signal switch, put it in one position or the other and have another switch that connects right side with left side to get four ways. I think I did that many, many years ago.

This would work, but could confuse someone if both flash when the blinker is activated. If the additional switch is activated, current will flow regardless of which blinker is triggered.
Another option would be to tie a second circuit into both blinker wires. It provides it own power supply, switch and flasher.

Dave, Good to hear from you again here. It's been some time.

This was covered a few months ago in a long thread here. At least 4 or 5 ways to do the setup was described as folks have done other mods too. There was even one version with adding a switch on the break pedal for the lights to stop and be red.

Look for it. I think one or two members even illustrated a basic wire schematic.

Sure good to hear from you as well. I thank you for the info for sure !!!!!
I'll see if I can locate the tread/s.

I was driving behind a large tractor the other day. One thing is for sure. No lighting system or scheme will accurately and always indicate what any of the lights mean, as on a vehicle. I had a bunch of police wig-wag modules and I installed one on our tractor back in the 80s for the hazard signals. Thinking back, it would be about as confusing as anything else.
