Cletrac--Did you ever find out how to turn up your DK45? I recently aquired a DK40 with 1400 hours I think is needing a little boost.
I see what looks like a screw with a cylindrical cover over it sticking out forward on the injection pump, I think that may be the fuel screw. My Massey 1433 had a similar cover over the fuel screw to prevent tampering. I turned up my 1433 and TC33 to where the exhaust just "hazes" under a big load. Nice power increase, can really feel the torque rise now, but I need to check EGT to be sure I'm not too high. On the TC33, it was a dog when I got it, the previous owner thought it was wore out at 5000 hrs. I got it home, turned it up, and it's like a new tractor as far as power.
