I own a Ford 3910 4x4 with front loader and bucket. The two spool control is a Chief Model K16A1 SKZ1. It gets its hydro power from the two outlets to the rear of the tractor and there is a lever under the seat that seems to have three positions to switch from the 3 Pt to the bucket. Lately,,, like in the past 5-8 months this thing has taken on a mind of it's own. I will just be driving along and the bucket will start going down. This became a problem while I was baling hay because I had to watch the baler and not constantly look at where the bucket was at. All of a sudden I was diggin a huge hole in the hay field. The bucket goes down rather quickly and the spool lever is very difficult to bring back to the up position to raise the bucket. I see no leaks anywhere. I can stop with the bucket all the way up and it will stay there without moving, even overnight. I am not a mechanical guy and especially not with hydraulics. I have tried with the lever under the seat in different positions and it still does it. At one point the lever under the seat was raising and lowering the bucket just like the spool up top was supposed to be doing. Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation??? Thanks in advance..
