yesterday got a email from the dealer that they are mailing new back tires for my dk40se hst. now i'm happy they should have done it the second day but at least they are doing it. dose anyone know what the bumper to bumper warrenty means? still haveing issues with it going into gear. i talked to a guy down the road who has the same tractor got a new hood when a tree limb fell on it the dealer where he bought his tactor replaced it under his warrenty. just wondering what is covered in my 4 yr warrenty that in the future it wont be a battle.

Here's what I can tell you about getting it in gear and what I think happens to make it hard to get in gear...

It seems if you take it out of gear and the tractor moves a bit, getting back in gear requires a couple taps of the HST pedals. While GENTLY pulling (or pushing) the shifter, give the HST pedal a tap. If forward doesn't do it, try backward. 99% of the time the shifter will glide right into place on the 1st or second tap.

Hi landedakioti,
Normally the tires carry their own warranty from the manufacturer. But if they were cut when you received it you should have noted that on your delivery receipt and it should get taken care of for you. Sometimes it will be covered by the manufacturer or Kioti. The dealer can handle that for you and it may have something to do with the time it took. As long as it all works out in the end. Enjoy your tractor.

Dave,
The tractor was delivered when i wasn't home. Then i promised my daughter she could be the first to sit on it . So when she got home later that and sat on it then i got to jump on it started and started to move i move it two feet and she yelled at me to tell me There was a gash.
I grew up in vermont on a farm the first thing i drove was a international at the age of 5yrs. I now live in maine but i go to Lebanon NH to AVA gallery a lot and see my family in Woodstock Vt.
I like the tractor a lot nice to steer with power steering . Need to figure out a what would be a good wood splitter for the back thats cheap so we can split 16 cords to give to people who need help to heat there homes this winter. We bought this tractor to help a non profit out with everything.
