Heard this at the Woodworkers club meeting last night, older gent asked if we had 30 seconds for a joke:
Hillary Clinton is at the Pearly Gates speaking with Gabriel. While talking she notices that one side of the wall beside the gates is covered with clocks, the nearer ones appear to be inoperative and those further away appear to be working. She asks Gabriel about them and he replies "Oh those aren't clocks, they're actually truth meters. Every time someone tells a lie, the needle move one notch. For example, "he continues, "the nearest one here was Mother Teresa's. She never told a lie and you can see the needle never did move. The next one to it belonged to Abraham Lincoln. He only told two lies in his life and you can see that the needle has moved 2 notches."
"Oh my, "Hillary says, "that's very interesting. Uhm ... which one is my husband, Bill Clinton's?"
Gabriel says "Oh, I'm sorry, that one isn't out here. St. Peter has it in his office. He uses it for a fan."

Of course that got a huge laugh, but then we discussed whether jokes were appropriate before sharp instruments were going to be used /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
