Two year / 70 hour reflection on Max 26

On my list of many is to find an old bed-liner and do a bit of protection, I want something light and easy to take off. I'm not looking to protect against IED's, just small arms, etc.

I got a 4x8 sheet of mild steel for relatively cheap, I thought it would be easier to work with than it ended up being :laughing:

I've got 3/4 of it left. the bedliner was free, if I knew then what I knew a month later...


(now that I look at it, I'm not sure why I didn't use the bucket to bend the front. oh well)

the tab there was bent up, and then welded for a bit of reinforcement.

dealer called, parts waiting for me for the battery replacement/etc. (figures it'd all get here the week I have late shift at work hahahaha). I gotta say I really like my dealer. I'm not sure yet whether I can say the same for mahindra.. and their odd refusal to contact me directly.

at any rate, I'm ready to put this battery thing in the rear view.. don't really have the time right now to be horsing around with equipment between the day job and several cars in the shop for various reasons, and of course at the top of the heap family. I do occasionally get some help though.

Issue should be resolved shortly. I will say (As everyone else already has in a thousand other threads)

Dealer support should be at the top of the list, or a 1A to the particular tractor you're looking for. Good dealer support makes allllll the difference in the world, and my local dealer has on multiple occasions gone WAY above and beyond to take care of problems and situations. Big hat tip to Coblentz Equipment & Parts (again), for going above and beyond (and really, unprompted, as I specifically didn't ask them to do anything with regards to my problem).
