I called a TYM Dealer today and asked him about a TYM T574 tractor. He told me that they do have tier four emissions. Can not get a mid-mount pto either for a front-mount snow-blower. Have to go with a self-contained snow-blower powered from the rear pto. The cab is also 97.5" high, will not fit in a 8' door. It will not fit my door. Bummer!

All new tractors sold in the US have tier 4 emissions. TYM sells most (like my 574) with their own engine. Those have no ECM, so if the DPF has problems it won't go into limp mode. It also makes it easy to bypass if you don't care about your warranty. Some other models use Yanmar or Deutz engines. I don't know if those have the same feature.

I don't know if many tractors that big have mid-mount PTO. We don't need snow blowers down here, so I didn't look when I was shopping.

I'd have to look at my spreadsheet, but any tractor that big is going to be pushing up or over 8'. If not, you will be in a cramped cab. I got a 10' door (also ROPs) door is 8' wide. I would have got it wider if I had to do it again. Have about a foot on either side.

All new tractors sold in the US have to meet tier IV emissions.

For engines under 25.5 hp, the requirements are easier to meet and can be done with combustion chamber shape and injection timing with mechanical injection. Engines over 25.5 hp generally need DOC + DPF systems or DOC + EGR. Most are EFI but the Kujke engines in some TYMs are mechanical FI. Above 75hp the requirements are stricter still, and those generally use DOC, DPF, EGR and DEF.

The TYM T574 appears to have a Kukje A2300T engine. I don't know if the Kukjes in the TYMs have the older non regen DOC+DPF system like my Branson 3725 has, or the newer one that lets the operator run a regen. Both systems use MFI and a large DOC+DPF that stays clean at a lower temperature than the usual EFI DOC+DPF. While mine has worked well for me, given the choice I'd prefer the newer system with the abilty to run a regen if needed.

The only people who had problems with the older Kukje non regen system were in cold climates and were not able to run their machines hard enough often enough to get the DPF hot enough to clean itself. The ability to run a regen would address that.

I know you can get a Massey 2800m with mid PTO and I believe you can add that to some John Deere but not 100% sure.
