TYM T25/RK25 attachment compatibility

This is a duplicate of the thread I posted in the TYM forum, I didn't know if owners of Rk tractors visit the TYM side of things!

I recently took delivery of a TYM T25, and passed on the belly mower for now and decided to continue to use our Husqvarna garden tractor to do the mowing.

For future reference, does anyone know if the 60" mid mount mower for the RK25 fits the TYM T25? There is a drastic difference in cost between the RK at $2299 (including the mid pto kit) and the TYM dealers price of $2699 + $625 for the mid pto kit...

Great question. Definitely a gray area. See if you can get a manual or parts diagram emailed by each seller. The fit up at the tractor is likely the same the rest could be different.

Fwiw, the local Mahindra dealer has been helpful in finding parts for my rk55 in the tym database. They knew exactly where the overlaps were between tym, Mahindra and the rk branded units.

I recently purchased a TYM25 with a MMM. The MMM has a tag on it with a TYM serial number but it came with a RK owners manual.
I believe the two MMMs are exactly the same. I also believe there is something wrong with the quotes you received. I do not believe you have to add a mid-PTO on the TYM T25. I could be wrong but I believe all T-25s come with the mid-PTO.

My TYM dealer is brand new. When I told him the RK mower is advertised as coming with the mid PTO kit, he said none of his literature says its included. That's why he quoted me the additional price. He is supposed to verify that with the rep.

Like I posted in the TYM thread, I was under the understanding that the tractors were the same, with the RK coming standard with more "options" and at a cheaper price. Then I saw the 3rd function setup on the TYM, compared it to the RK, and started to question what else might be different.
