Ugh, was it HOT and sticky out today! I'm pretty sure it bothered me more than the T273 and she was doing most of the work.

#1 BandLred - Big Red Bus (BRB) and the Little Red Mule (LRM) in the woods waiting to work.
#2 thinkIcan - LRM showing that tree how it's gonna be.
#3 inbucket - LRM wasn't worried at all. :D

Coaster - Yeah, now I have to get your darn idea of putting a pond in where my drainage project ended out of my head. You planted a seed and its growing!

I was thinking something small for a few fish and a few plants, ya know 50' round would be good enough. Then I thought, boy that would be neat to have a little gazebo that was in the middle with a dock out to it. Wife said she wouldn't like it if there were too many skeeters.....Hmmmmm......I Would have to filter and move the water to keep the bugs down if she was gonna sit out there with me. ok....run electric and put a Small 8X10 shed for a filter house with a circulating pump. Well if there's gonna be a filter and pump, I may as well build a little waterfall at one side. Hey if it's going to look that nice AND there will already be electric in the filter house, I may as well put a ceiling fan in the gazebo and and GFCI outlet for a radio.....Oh yeah and some of those low voltage lights on the walkway and on the outside of the gazebo.

The wife says ok, so we went from digging a hole at the end of your pipe to building a backyard oasis. Where did you get this idea? Rest assured, I promptly blamed you. :D

After hearing the price (without the gazebo mind you) she asked that you either pony up with some Benjamin's to help finance this project or keep your ideas to yourself in the future.:p HAHAHAHA

I think I might have to wait a few years until the tractor is paid off to start on this one.

Interesting pond compulsion. I have one too, which is crazy cause right now I have an in-ground pool under construction, dirt piled everwhere, huge hole in the ground. And, what do I want to do? Dig yet another huge hole for a pond! I have a pin-oak sitting by itself with a flower bed around it. Thought I'd build a pond around the pin oak and build a bridge over to it and put in a little sitting area. Of course, a pump, waterfall, lighting, and electric are absolute needs!

Hmmm....I think I'll wait until the pool is done first.... or at least I'll try to wait. It's funny how having a machine that can dig just about anything for you will make you want to dig "just about anything".

Do the pond. Your wife will "thank you" on its banks when it's done.
