I have a TZ18DA that won't start because of a blown 5A fuse. Whenever I try to install a new fuse, it blows immediately (I even tried a 10A fuse and that blew). The fuse diagram said the 5A is for the safety control unit, brake switch. Any suggestions on where the short is or how to fix the issue?

As you can read the diagram, try disconnecting any connector plugs - one by one - in that circuit. Or to save fuse money, disconnect every plug, then start putting them back together. When the fuse blows, that's going to get you closer. Maybe that will help you isolate the short.

Putting in a larger fuse will eventually show you the problem spot, but you will have cooked insulation - or worse - to fix.

Good luck, Dave.
