U4384 Tachometer

My tach stopped working and I have no idea to start looking. I have the service manual but after reading g cover to cover the only reference was something to do with the starter motor. I can see that its not cable driven its electronic. Anyone know the color of the tach wire and where the sensor is. I am hoping that its a broken wire.
