U5030

Do any of you guys have thoughts on the 5030? Needing to use it for light farm work i.e cutting, baling hay and bush hogging and for clearing out standing cedars and blown down oak root wads.

I have had my u-5030 for about five months now and I am
well pleased with it. It has great power and shifts through
the gears as well as any pickup truck I have ever driven.
It goes in and out of four wheel drive so easy.
I will have to buy a larger bushhog as my five foot one
looks so small behind this tractor.
I do think the 5030 would be great in the hay field or
what ever farm work you ask of it.
We looked at four other brands and chose the LS.

I just bought one to replace a 72 ford 3000 that was wore out. I am very happy with the machine it is defiantly light in the rear when you get a full bucket. I put rim guard in the tires for weight and it help make the tractor feel much more planted. A ballast box would do wonders also. The only complaint I have would be the exhaust pipe is not supported as well as needed, other than that so far no problems other than the bolt that held the alternator on lost the nut and I had to put a new one on. OOOPS i need to wake up I have a 5020.
