I found the seat on my LS R4047 a little too low for comfort and good visibility. So I welded up, out of rectangular-tube steel, a C" shaped riser for the seat. Then, in the gap, I built a little wooden drawer. I glued some rare-earth magnets to the rear surface of the drawer so it stays closed, but a little tug will open it up. It is a great place for hitch pins, cotters, a spare wrench, etc.
