I have an older ford 1600 that is used and the bucket has been welded on as a repair. But I have noticed that the arms seem to be unlevel at differant positions and the only thing that I can find is one of the cylinders does not measure the same as the other.

Has this happened to any one else? I suspect I need to have cylinders rebuilt or a valve is leaking by ? I just dont have any experience with this. But any comments or help would greatly appreciated!!

Check the rear tires. The rear of the tractor has to be level in order for the loader the be level. Also check all the bolts that mount the loader,if the came loose, the mounting bracket may have moved.

It's likely that the loader arms are bent. If you mean the cylinders are different lengths from pin to pin, that's probably a result of the loader arms being uneven, rather than than the cause of them being uneven.

I agree

However if you meant that the cylinder were different diameter, that is a who other problem in itself, as one would fill up faster than the other and make everything out of whack.
