united steel toothbar vs markham

I do know everbody here likes the markham toothbar but reading about the teeth markham does not tell me what they are made of. so I think they are prefab ,united steel says theres are forge and cast harden ,can anybody shed some thoughts has anybody bought the united steel and used it looks about the same price thanks kully

I have one from US Steel, works good and is well built. Someone else had one that they had problems with, the bar that the teeth attach to was bent.

If it's the same price, I'd still go with Markham...

they've treated me well - twice!

Treated me twice right also. A five footer and now a six......It's a quality toothbar but you also get the followup care.......Very nice and friendly to deal with..

I'm the one that bought the United Steel toothbar and had a problem with the bar being bent. I contacted them and they paid for the shipping both ways to make things right for me. You can't beat that for great customer service. I am now very pleased with it. I would buy another one from them. The quality seems to be very good (although I have never owned another brand).
