I have a 1970s large lawn tractor (Or maybe its a compact tractor, don't really know what it is, maybe a Sears Suburban 18) a that has hydraulic FEL someone built on it before I bought it, after some research it seems the tractor is rated for ~800lbs on the front axle, the loader I suspect will out lift that by a lot as its massively overbuilt. The distance between the arms is about 25 inches.
The bucket I have is really small, maybe 1/8 cu yard or smaller with some pretty aggressive teeth. I am hoping to get a smooth edge bucket for general dirt and snow moving, something for log/branch/brush moving (not cutting) with grapple, pallet forks, maybe something else.
The question is what (mini) universal attach system should I get? I know there is skid steer universal attach but at 44" minimum that is larger then what I want. I see a Toro Dingo, Bobcat MT, maybe a couple others I have read about that are more appropriately sized for my small FEL but which one?
I have access to welder and skills as needed.
Thanks in advance for any help and recommendations.
