Would I have any trouble unloading a 60" king kutter II tiller (700# +/-) off a freight truck with my 1635? I have no idea how this works so any advice would be great. I would like to buy local but there are no KK dealers nearby and I am a bit leary of the Tartar's at the local Tractor Supply's. The local dealer sells Woods but they are about $1000 more and I can't justify that for my personal use.

I have a Kubota L3130, little smaller than the MF1635. I have loaded and unloaded a 5' KK tiller with it. If you have proper ballest in the back, on flat surface and lower in a fulid motion you should not have a problem. Once you clear the bed start lowering slow with no quick stops with the loader at that height or it could tip you forward.

Thanks, I have a backhoe and loaded tires so I should be fine there. There is nothing flat here except the road but that isn't too busy so it should work. Any idea if it will come on an open or enclosed trailer? Can I pick it with chains as I don't have forks for the loader (yet)?

You will be ok unloading it. Just make sure you keep it balanced and maybe a counter weight on the back. Happy tilling.

Around here they usually are delivered on a flatbed, but you may want to check.

I unloaded my 4' KK from my trick with a GC. You should be fine. Just keep it as close to the tractor as you can. I had some issue getting my bushhog out by trying to scoop it into the bucket. Had to go on top and chain it under the bucket. 1635 is a way bigger tractor so I wouldn't think there would be an issue.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I ended up getting the Woods TC60 from the local dealer after I talked him down a bit. My 1635 picked it out of the back of my truck just fine.
