Haven't been on this site for awhile. My wife died sudenly last January, been taking care of the kids and all the dreaded business that goes along with the loss.
I finally decided it was time to get some pastures renivated, and went to unlock the draft control on the back of the tractor. First of all I had to loosen my remote hydraulics bracket, then with big hands, get into a small area to loosen a bot that locked the draft in place. Followed the directions on the back of the tractor and also had talked to my dealer. Got the wrench on the correct area, went to move it. It would not budge, here my hands are banged up, I am ready to call the dealer. I get a hammer, hit the wrench several times, finally it breaks loose. You can move the lock with your fingers, once it broke loose. It seems the paint had bonded it, like a tack weld. After shocking it with a hammer hitting the wrench, it broke free. A job that should have took 15 minutes or less, took about a half hour. Just wanted to let others know if they have this same problem. Couldn't live without draft control on these hills.
