UNITED PARCEL SERVICE COMPANY is mailing you in regards of the parcel that was
brought to this company to be delivered to you by us. During the delivery

Just today I received an automated phone call letting me know "that my credit card had been flagged for potentially fraudulent activity" and I needed to contact "them" immediately and confirm my account activity and information in order to straighten it all out.

Well, number one.........I don't own a credit card.

"Them" was very vague.......the automated call seemed to cut in and out quite a bit.


I called my actual bank where I have a debit card to check on my account and they knew of no issues with it. I feel this was designed to pray on the elderly as the call sounded quite serious and official and might just startle an older person into just going along thinking they were speaking with someone trying to help them.
