Thinking about going bigger from my 6000 4wd. I have seen a post that the 7000 series is in prototype and may be out in March/April. Can anyone help me on a good price for the 7000 and specs?
Also, what is a good price for the 6500 4wd. Anyone know if the loader (great bend) is interchangable along with the backhoe? Will probably need new sub assembly, but other than that I would think the backhoe would swap out. I have compared the specs of the 6000 to 6500, but anyone have any experience it what that will translate to in actual performance such a pulling a 10' rotary cutter?

If you have the ML 264 loader on your 6000, I'm pretty sure it's the same one that they put on the 6500 also.

If I were you, I would wait on the 7000 if you can.....

Slippy,,,,,,,,,as best as I can tell, the frame is the same on the 6000. uses the same backhoe Braco 509 or 511 with the same loader, only diff that I see are the cubic inches and tire size. But ask the dealer in California that posted the great pics. His price with a loader shown was around $24k. However a far pace from you. How come you want to get rid of your 6000 4wd and how much do you want?

6500 is the same frame as the 6000. Loader fits both. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

When I bought my tractor I really wanted a 65 to 70 hp at min. I have a lot of acres that can be mowed or bail hay. When I mow it, I pull a 10 foot rotary cutter. It does ok, but would be happier I think with about 10 to 20 more hp. When it gets pretty tall and I'm pulling the hills, I have to sometimes get even down to 1st gear.

I would probably wait on the 7000 except I am affraid it will be too wide. I haul my tractor through the year 5 or 6 times, and if it is any wider than the 6000 foot print (77") outside tire to outside tire, it will not fit on my trailer, and I would have to change over to a flat bed. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Thats why I'm interested in getting the specs on the 7000 series.

Not sure what my 6000 is worth and therefore what I would ask for it. Once I do, and decide to sell I might put up a post on this board.

Thanks for the imput so far, but again, anybody know more scope on the 7000?
