I posted on my 1600 alittle while ago about being hard to start and having to use either to start it. Well I put new diesel in it and new glow plug's but it doesn't start any better. What is the best way to test glow plug's? I checked the volt's going to them and it started at about 8 and went to about 10.50 volts, the little heater on the dash work's now . Bought a Chinese compression gauge and did a check, back cyl, 450lb's front 400 lb's. pretty good because it's only suppose to have around 390 psi.new look's like I got what I paid for. I read a post on here about cylinder's glazing over due to not working them hard enough so I put a 5 ft. brush hog on it and made a few pass's in grass about 2 to 3 ft. high no thick brush . I realise that hog is to big for this little tractor but I figured it was a good way to work it. I had the motor smoking black & blue and white plus some blowby out the vent. I ran her in 2 & 3rd gear in low range it was pretty slow going. I will say it might be starting alittle easier I can start it without a shot of the can now with enough grinding of the starter, might be that I just getting my starting technigue down. Mark
