Well it has been a little bit and I think I should check in with all you that have helped me to this point of owning my first tractor .
In a word ..........GREAT !
I have had her ( Lil Sweet Thing ) for a few weeks and have a total of 18 hours on her, all have been some of the best hours in my life . I grow pumpkins whole sale for a local farmer and this years garden looks the best ever. The best part is that the work to set up for it has been to easy and with Lil Sweet Thing I now have wild ideas of going to a bigger operation ........
I got a Kuhn EL-42 series tiller and a Lime / fertilizer spearder at the same time both have worked flawlessly ,( I wish I could say that about the operator ,..) So far due to operator error , I have replaced 3 broken tines , on the tiller , the mixer in the spreader , and holed a full 5 gal . fuel can .......... I keep Lil Sweet Thing in a tractor trailer body set flat on the ground ( wheels off and sunk in a hole ) this gives me about 10" on each side of the FEL , But only have 3" on each side of the tiller , you don't wiggle much to hit the walls....lol that and fact I did not place the fuel can in far enough ..........
Look forward to more seat time with weed control and other doings
Again Thank You All for your help and information ,
Thank You ........
