update on s&w recall

Just to let you know that smith and wesson had a recall on the 22a. Mine would not shoot, would jam, and missfire. I contacted them a couple of times but didnt hear back from them. That was my fault since the 22a has its own contacts that you have to get ahold of. Once i sent an email to the 22a customer service people within the week i was given a prepaid fedex mailing label. I mailed it back and just recieved the gun back yesterday.
They replaced the entire slide and barrell. I havent used it yet, but i am hoping that what they did really fixes the issues i was having.
Just wanted to let people know that you have to go through the 22a customerservice people.
