Kubota 7400HSD
I changed my hydraulic oil over the weekend and found that the new Kubota filter, part number HH67037710, that supersedes 67955-37710, does not FIT! The barrel of the filter is too large and fouls against the hydraulic coupling just aft of filter connection preventing the new filter from lining up on the post.

For anybody else that may run into the problem, after a LOT of Internet searching, I found Napa, Wix, and Baldwin have filters designed to replace the original 67955-37710 filter. Oddly, none of the manufacturers list their filter as equivalent for the Kubota filter, but Napa online confirmed the Napa filter fit the B7400HSD (and B7500, etc). Once I had the Napa part number, I found the others pretty quickly.

The Napa Gold part number is FIL 7089. The Wix part number is 57089. The Baldwin filter part number is BT8902.

I bought the Wix filter, and it worked great!

Hope this helps!

Are you located in Terrell, TX? If so I'm just North of you. Small world with location and problems. ;)

I ran into this in 2006 and here is some quick background. Kubota changed the outer diameter of the filter from 3.0" to 3.25" just enough to cause the problem. Since I drop my fluids every 75 hours (not the recommended 300 hours) and did not have a replacement I used the same one from before.

2007 - Found the WIX replacement you noted above and started using it.

2019 - WIX discontinued filter 57089 and replaced it with WL10285. Unfortunately they redesigned it and increased the outer diameter from 3.01" to 3.245". Here we go again!

2019 - I found a number for Grapevine,TX Kubota headquarters and Tech department 817-571-0900. I called it and they basically couldn't give a damn about the issue and stated I would have to take the tractor to a Dealer to have it checked out even though I know what the issue is. They also kept trying to claim that Kubota US has no Technical Support or Engineering Department located in the US. They were completely useless.

Calls to the Kubota dealers were useless as well and they were pushing the redesigned filter. Even had one try to pas off an engine oil filter as a replacement.

2019 - Started using the Baldwin BT8902 filter noted above. Spoke with Baldwin and they really are very nice and helpful people. I begged them not to change the design but have been ordering two extra to have on hand for next changes just in case.

Just an FYI on the NAPA Gold filter FIL 7089. Looks like they no longer offer that filter and I could not find a substitute on their site.

We may be left with the Baldwin filter which is a good filter and hopefully they don't change the design.
